On my Fossil Q Explorist, curved text that is set to bright does not return on the switch from ambient back to bright

Tap action hotspot area does not observe either rotation or segments. This makes it hard to handle tap on any ring. For example the tap hotspot on any rotated text ring seems to be about the 9 o'clock marker.
