Improve/generalize {ssc} step-counter support

My watch is a Samsung gear S3. The step-counter tag {ssc} only displays the step count from the phone (Samsung Galaxy S5). When I am at home I leave my phone at the door and thus phone steps are not counted throughout my day. I would like to...
